Harman/Kardon citation 12

Are they worth 100.00 how do they sound would probably pairing it with my dynaco pat4, and Chorus, or maybe some other project like some horns with k-55 drivers, I have going on. Anyone know the specs on these, I found something about it having 120 watts rms is this both channels combined. Any input appreciated.

Yes they are worth $100, I ran mine with my Forte II's for a number of years. The C 12 is heavy on the bass side. I have an owner manual some where, give me a day to find it. 60 wpc.

The C-12 is a nice amp.

My buddy used one to drive his Model 19s for a long time and that combo sounded great.

A year or 2 ago he bought a Citation II... much nicer, to my ears.

That said,

if it is decent shape, well worth 100 bucks.

Yes, they are good. I remember them as being the same power (60w RMS / channel) as the Dynaco Stereo 120, but probably better made. Definitely worth the price if working correctly.

The Citation12 is a solid 60 watts per channel. I'm not so sure about a Pat4 and a C12 together, it might be a little too shrill. It might be better matched to some smooth sounding speakers. Then again, it's been a long time since I had a C12. I had 4 Infinity 1001As with 4-12 inch woofers. It could really shake the rafters. I don't know how my parents put up with all that volume.

Someone on AK offered me one for $150 delivered. I chose a 430 for $100 and went and picked it up myself.

I'm pretty familiar with the PAT-4A, having used one for many years. I think that a C-12 and a PAT-4A would be fine together.
