Moderators dtel Posted November 14, 2010 Author Moderators Share Posted November 14, 2010 The screen is made up of alot of 3" x 3" ( just a guess of the size ) separate screens, here is a picture of a small section you could see from the back through a gap in the cover which was just screen. Moderators dtel Posted November 14, 2010 Author Moderators Share Posted November 14, 2010 The sound was from EV speakers on each side of the screen, 70,000 watts.
Moderators dtel Posted November 14, 2010 Author Moderators Share Posted November 14, 2010 The seating was lounge chairs that was raised for each level going to the back. The glass you can see is two hot tubs with a pool in front of that, you can sit in the tub and watch also.
Moderators dtel Posted November 14, 2010 Author Moderators Share Posted November 14, 2010 The rows of seats are lit in blue lights, but the screen is bright enough where the lights are not a problem, it's easy to see even in bright sun. Moderators dtel Posted November 14, 2010 Author Moderators Share Posted November 14, 2010 The sound was loud enough but was just ok, plenty of midrange but could have used s little more highs and a sub would have helped. But it is outdoors in rough and sometimes very windy and salty conditions so overall all it was good. They played movies and concert videos and the screen was used for just scenery videos when a band would play, or a DJ. This is the plate on the back of one of the speakers. psg
Did you have a nice cruise?
Moderators dtel Posted November 14, 2010 Author Moderators Share Posted November 14, 2010 Yes thank you it was fun, but we have never been on one with that setup. I don't know if it's good or bad, I think there is a little less live music with the big screen, fun either way. [Y]

skonopa
I wonder if that was same ship that I was on the summer before last:
Moderators dtel Posted November 22, 2010 Author Moderators Share Posted November 22, 2010 It looks exactly like it to me. Looking at that picture it reminds me that's a whole lot of Teak wood on all the outside decks.

Me Loves Khorns
That theater looks cool.] And should move along fine, unless of course there is an engine fire!!!! Then it stops moving and gets really smelly and the movies won't run! Paul

Paul We were on the ship when we seen that in the news, I could live with an engine fire and no power and everything else that goes along with it, just keep that sucker upright and floating. [Y] I would bet they never play the movie Titanic !

I think Ernest Borgnine is just dreamy as Detective Lieutenant Mike Rogo.
