Klipschguy
Hey guys. I've got a good tweak I use to make old, weave Heritage grillcloth look new. 1. Remove grillcloth + spray lightly with an upholstery cleaner. 2. Brush into cloth with a fairly stiff brush. 3. Let dry. 4. (This is the good part) Take an old rotary shaver (like a Norelco), and lightly "shave" the cloth. Shaving the cloth removes the loose fibers which keep the cloth from looking crisp and clean. You will need to stop about every minute or so to clean the shaver heads as the tiny fibers really start piling up. I've done this on a number a Heritage grillcloths and it is AMAZING what it can do. I've only done it on the black stuff, so I'm not sure about the "cane" cloth - it may not be suitable for a good shave. Shave and a haircut, two bits. Malcolm
Uh, do you have to do this every morning?
Klipschguy
Malcolm, Due to the slow growth rate of the Klipsch grillcloth fibers, shaving them is only needed about once every five years. Andy
