My heresy's are 1985 with I believe the E crossover ? Can't remember for sure. khorn58 Posted April 12, 2002 Share Posted April 12, 2002 I had a pair of pro lascalas and they were rated at 96 db instead of 104db like stock units. I was told By klipsch sales that the pro hearsy used a 12 Guass for the low end WITH STOCK SPEAKERS IN THE MIDS AND HIGHS. The pro lascalas also used Guass speakers in the low end with stock mids and highs I would'nt use the HIE crossover for home use as the Guass drivers they are designed.took more power to driver.With stock speakers the bass would be way down in volume.
