dddpsd
Happy 2011 folks. I am running my KLF-20's with a late 1980's Denon DRA-1035R (130w/side) and am still trying to get the bass up. Any benefit to bi-wire? I am now using Audioquest F-18 speaker wire that I doubt is made anymore. Four runs of new wire (total 60-70 feet) will be pricey. Thanks for any thoughts. Dennie
Do you have two amps? Or, do you have a big ol'amp for the woofers is a better question? You may benefit from a 100 watt amp for the Mid and Highs and a bigger 250 or 500 watt amp for the Lows, but if you are using one amp and just going to run two sets of wires, you're not going to notice a difference! wuzzzer
You'll get tremendously better results making sure your speakers and your listening position are properly set up in the room.
dddpsd
Thanks for your input. The rear ports are new to me and I will keep moving the speakers around. Dennie
Hey, we have the same budget! LOL As has been said, placement can be a big factor. I actually took notes when trying to get my La Scalas just right. Dennie
dddpsd
If the La Scalas are rear ported also, what is your placement? Or better, how far from the back wall?
