i just purchased a Type B crossovers from a forum member....and just saw this on Bob Crites website:

"For the Klipsch Cornwall, we build the Type B crossover used until
around 1982 and also the Type B-2 and B-3 used from about 1982 until the
end of the Cornwall I production in 1985"

my cornwalls are '83, so does that mean i would need the Type B-2?

Since it sounds like your cornwalls have traveled modification lane (maybe), it depends if they presently have k-55 drivers and k-77 drivers regardless of what is supposed to be in them.

smokarz,

open your Cornwalls up and write down what it on the individual speakers inside...ALSO, write down what is on the crossovers that are already in your Cornwalls...then report back here...this will help us to help you...I bet whatever is written on your Cornwall crossovers will hold the key...if by chance you have the wrong crossover...I would be willing to bet that Bob Crites could guide you or for a nominal fee, convert yours to the type you need...good luck...take a deep breath...we'll help get you there if you want the help...

Bill
