Ray Garrison Posted April 24, 2002 Share Posted April 24, 2002 I've seen several different types of flat speaker cable in audio shops, Radio Shack, Home Depot, etc. Most of these are flat bundles of stranded wire, and the wire gauge used is very, very fine. I found them difficult to strip and terminate without getting little bitty bits of busted copper wire all over everything, plus I kept cutting / breaking a lot of the strands. It is cheap, and if you're better with stripping snips and crimpers than I am, you might be okay with it... I'd spend a few dollars more, and go with one of these: http://www.alphacore.com/mispeaker.html only because it's a lot less hassle, plus the Goertz stuff complements Klipsch speakers very well, with a very open, detailed, extended high end.
