Gregorius
What they did to this speaker is an abomination unto the Lord. Chris Robinson
I saw it too ... he's selling the Trusonic 15" woofer that was in it on a separate ad. As sad as it is, it looked in rough shape --- and I think I remember a post by Tom Brennan saying that it wasn't that great sounding. Of course I could be confusing it with a different model. The bass "vents" in the back look awfully narrow. I emailed Edwardre to ask him if crossover mods were necessary to run in the Belle as a replacement woofer. He told me on the side six months ago that it really matched the Khorn's bass intensity in his Belle, and I'm thinking (I call it!) about popping it in my center Belle. TBrennan
Even PWK has said the Rebel was a bad speaker.
HDBRbuilder
TBrennan... Yep, yer right...I heard him say that myself a few times...LOL! ....overheard coming from PWK when an employee brought in an old beat-up Rebel to try to restore: "Why do you want an old Rebel when you work here and can get a new pair of GOOD speakers inexpensively?"....LOL! Tony Reed
PWK has also said that the Shorthorn was his Edsel. Tony
