D. Ryan
Hey gang. I was wanting to upgrade my KV1 center channel but having trouble find a good match that with keep up with my system. I was think of get two more kg2.5s and going one above the T.V. and one below. but then it i thought maybe if i found a cross over two woofers and the horn from a single KG4 and build my own enclosure. I have all the tools needed to do the job right but i am clueless to how to come up with cab size becuase of the passive radiator in the KG4. I would think a ported cab would be ok but not sure. If anyone has some input on this or even other sugjestions or just stick with the two KG2.5s high and low idea. Any and all input welcome. Thanks in advance. wuzzzer
Don't run two center speakers. If you search on here and online in general you'll find a lot of good arguments against it. Here's a single KG 2.5 on eBay : http://cgi.ebay.com/Klipsch-KG2-5v-Black-Speaker-Center-Channel-KG-2-5-v-/300569128199?pt=Speakers_Subwoofers&hash=item45fb50ed07
cornfedksboy
My buddy runs 2 Quartets side by side, but spaced about 18 inches as a center channel and it sounds great.
