Perocat
Hi all, I bought two month ago a Klipsch SW RW-12d. The sub has 3 EQ options, flat depht and punch. When I turn on the Sub, an high pitch sound (B, about 1700-1800Hz) sounds on the Sub. But this only when the EQ is on the flat mode. On depht and punch mode the sound magically disapears!! Any idea? Thank you! Perocat
Perocat
I forgot to say, that the sound is alway present, even if the HK AVR142 is powered on, and the sound cable is connected!! The rest of my HT is composed by: 2 RF82 (front) and 2 RB81 (back). I hear my music from computer, with an Harmann Kardon AVR142.
cornfedksboy
Welcome to the forum! I have two of these and I have not had this issue. My bet would be that you have some electrical problems since it is only heard when using the "flat" mode. My only other suggestion would be to try some different connections (speaker wire, Y-spltter, right terminal only, left terminal only, etc.). Sorry I'm not more help. Perocat
Thank you for the answer! I already tried what you suggested me. The sub play the sound also when only the electric power is connected, whitout other cable, and in different electrical outlet!!

CECAA850
Is there a solution to reset the system? I didn't see that as an option when I read the owners manual.
