Groomlakearea51
I have a pair of K'horns in a room with LaScala's. The K'horns use A/4500's, as after years of listening to A's, AA's, AK's and AK3's, etc., the 4500 seems to be the best choice (for me). By consequence, the LS's have the 4500's as well. Good match. I have listened to AA's and AL's in the LaScalas, and while with merit, it comes down to a personal choice you will have to make. I can say that the volume level is usually rather low, and the 4500 is well suited to lower SPL levels.

Guest " "
at low power levels (loud enough to block out the wife in the next room), most folks like the type A, at high power levels (pool party) , the AL-3.
