DizRotus Posted December 21, 2011 Share Posted December 21, 2011 The exploded view seen many times on this forum (I think Marvel might have originated it) should help you understand. The woofer faces the back; it fires into the throat, the vertical rectangle. It's a bifurcated folded horn. The sound is split left and right and then directed forward past the "V" into the room. DizRotus Posted December 21, 2011 Share Posted December 21, 2011 The photo shows a woofer in place. The "V" is the roof of the "dog house" and it's to the left in the photo. Obviously, the other woofer goes into the other cabinet. The view is from the bottom with the access cover removed.
