themrclean
I have a pair of RF-7IIs still sitting in the box but I keep debating on the new 7IIs with the 64II or the 83s with 64. I have read comparisons between the old rf7s and 83s but not the new rf7s with matching center. Has anybody been able to do an A/B comparison? This will be for a dedicated home theater watching mostly blu-rays. I will be running 7.2 in a pretty big room. Any thoughts or suggestions? Fish
I have to ask if you hooked those 7 's to that 607? I can only imagine that would not make a beautiful noise.I hooked my 7 ' s to an Onkyo and it was awful.
themrclean
I did when I first got them just to see what they sounded like. The sound was unbelievably treble heavy but after turning the bass up and the treble down they sounded great. My plans are to run them off of the new 3d Emotiva Processor and Emotiva amps in the theater
Fish
10-4 to that, that will probably be a great set.
Dysmae
How do you guys like your Onkyo receivers with Klipsch speakers? I work for Magnolia and everytime that I have ever done a demo with Klipsch or other bright speakers with an Onkyo receiver, the result is shreaking treble to the maximum. Some people hear detail, some hear listening fatigue. I am definitely on the fatigue side.
