littletimmyz07 Posted January 26, 2012 Share Posted January 26, 2012 i was just courious i have klipsch rf-42-2 floor standing speakers and rc-042-2 cwnter and rb-41-2 bookshelf speakers and i have the onkyo tx-nr609 a/v receiver i have the fronts set at +6 decibals and the center at +6 decibal and the surround set at +3 decibal is this setting ok or wlll it blow my speakers ? please any response will be very appreiated Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Klipschtastic Posted January 26, 2012 Share Posted January 26, 2012 I have the 609 receiver also. Did you use the audessy feature with the mic to calibrate your speakers? wuzzzer Posted January 26, 2012 Share Posted January 26, 2012 It won't blow your speakers as long as you don't hear distortion from your speakers. There's really no need to turn the gain up that high, though. I'd set your fronts/center at 0 and your surrounds at -3 if I were you.
