juniper8
I was wondering if someone knows what a few abbreviations on my Pilot preamps faceplate meant .I have searched the web and found nothing. Under the treble and bass knobs, on the face plate, it is written, RIAA NAB AES. Thanks any info would be great!

These are equalization standards which were used for playback in the old days. Here's a whole history of the systems: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RIAA_equalization
