highdecibel
my tweeter stopped working......I pulled it out (k-75-k) and swapped it to the other speaker, and it still didn't work, and when the good tweeter was swapped to the other side it still worked, so I know it's not the crossover or wiring. However, while the bad tweeter was connected, and I was wiggling the connections..I could hear the tweeter working, then not working, so it seems I may have a loose connection inside the driver. Is this something I can maybe fix myself, or is the driver toast. If it is toast, where do I get a new one?...it's dated 8716. I'd obviously want to stick to a similiar driver that matches the stock ones.
Malcolm
Call the Klipsch parts department. They should be able to provide a replacement diaphragm or driver.
djk
You may want to buy a pair of diaphragms. The current one is a polyetherimide diaphragm while the older ones used a phenolic diaphragm.
