From what I read in the Marantz owners manual the 9200 has only an 8MHZ bandwidth compared to 100MHZ on the Denon. I'm not an audiophile and will be using the receiver to 95% for HT. It is important to me that the receiver can pass an HDTV signal without degrading it. The Denon he is refering to is the Denon AVR-4802. So, does this mean the Denon AVR-4802 has better video (component) performance than the Marantz SR9200? ------------------ Coming soon... I viewed a Marantz 50" plasma, with the SR9200, and using a Progressive Scan DVD(Phillips)and 720p HDTV satelitte signal feed(PBS),and the picture quality was phenominal in both modes. No loss from what I saw.
