cnguyen
I bought of pair Cornwall II over the weekend and one with a bad woofer. I ordered a new woofer from Klipsch parts this morning. It turned out that woofer for Cornwall III will fit the II so I'm in good shape. I currently own a pair of Forte II and CF3s. I'm dying to know if Cornwall II will beat them.My Cornwall come with brown beige cane grill and walnut finish. I've been looking for a pair of Cornwall IIs for awhile and they're harder to find than the I's which I don't care for.
oldmako
Please post your opinions after you get them humming. I own original Fortes and CF3's so I'm eager to hear what you think. Enjoy!
JJkizak
I have one CR-1 which I have been very happy with for about 47 years with a Dean crossover and Crites tweeter. JJK
cnguyen
Hi OldMako, I have the same thing. I have a pair of Forte II (up for sale) and pair of CF3 which I like better than Forte II withh fuller sound, more bass and better imaging. I currently have Mac 275 tube amp driving the units. I talked Klipsch parts dept this morning and they told me I can get new Cornwall II xover for $104 each. I'm tempted to replace the Cornwall II with these. Wonder if I can hear the $4000 sound from Cornwall III with my II's
