Scrappydue
I know this may be in the wrong section but, general section doesn't get as much action. So i thought it would be cool to start a thread with camera gear listed as it seems a lot of guys on here are into photography as well. So here goes my gear list. From left to right. I have a Nikon Sb-700, Nikon 50mm F1.8, Tamron macro 60mm F2.0, Tokina 12-24 F4.0, Tamron 18-270 F3.5-5.6, and last lens is the Tamron 70-200 F2.8. Camera is the Nikon D7000 with the MBD-11 grip on it. Assorted HD hoya UV, NDF, and Polarized filters for all lenses. I shoot on a manfotto 190XPROB with a 486 RC2 quick release swivel neck and also have a manfrotto 5001B flash stand. I love photography and have a lens to cover just about every kind of shooting. it is a hobby i can say there is an end to. i have had zero desire for any other gear and probably never will....unless of course i went pro status. then i could probably upgrade to all Nikon Glass

RichardP
I have been shooting since '98, and too have Nikon gear (but am too lazy to line it up and photograph it; what irony!). I also have the D7000, and D200; Nikkors 18-70 AF-S, 24mm AF, 50mm AF, 35-70mm AF, 70-300 AF-S VR, 75-300 AF (which I combine with 5T and 6T diopters for macro); Tokina 300 F2.8 AF. Flashes are 2 SB-600s, and an SB-800. Tripods are Gitzo 1227 and Manfrotto 190CXPro3, both topped with Kirk BH-3 ballheads (love them!). When I win the lottery, I want a Nikkor 200-400 AF-S. Fotog
Nikon shooter here as well. Began in High School (early 70's) as a yearbook Fotog. Had a couple 6006's with a 50mm f/1.8, a 28-70 and a 75-300. Sold those and have upgraded a bit. Have a D70 and just bought a D700 Fx + MB D10 grip. Speedlights are an SB600 and a third party for Nikon I don't recall. Lenses are a Nikkor 50mm f/1.4D, Nikkor 85mm f/1.4D, Nikkor 17-35mm f/2.8D, Nikkor 24-85mm F/2.8-4D and a Sigma EX 50-500 (mounted on the D70 for an effective focal length of 75-750 in the Dx format). My Tripod is a Bogen Manfrotto as is my mono-pod. All my bodies and lenses have QR plates mating up with my heads. The Nikkor 17-35 is a truly wonderful lens. Sunsets are simply stunning. I most appreciate the SB600's zoom mating with the Nikkor 24-85 as a walk around general purpose set up. The Nikkor 85mm f/1.4 for portraits is legendary. Fast and mated with the D700 for low light, it is spectacular. For wildlife, the Sigma Ex can reach out and get that shot. Have many very nice animal captures in my portfolio.
