Moderators Youthman Posted June 24, 2012 Moderators Share Posted June 24, 2012 Well, I've had my panny in operation since Feb of 2009 and it now has 2640 hours on the lamp. It's been displaying the "Replace Lamp" for some time now and as of late, it has been powering down after a few minutes of operation (typical from what I have read). Guess it's finally time to order my lamp as it is getting close to it's 3000 hr lifespan. I've read not to skimp on an aftermarket bulb so I'm wanting to see if anyone has any recommendations on where to purchase OEM lamps from. So far, I've found these two sources from the AVS forum. $317 with free shipping from buy.com - Link $306 including shipping from Provantage - Link

When I received it I realized it looked differently and went back to check website and it stated it was in a "generic housing" . 1300 hours later it's been a solid lamp. Here's link to your bulb from them http://www.apexlamps.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=1467&gclid=CM6F17jT6bACFSQDQAodYFIb2w This one is from Panasonic as advertised http://www.projectorlampsource.ca/panasonic_pt-ae3000_projector_bulb.html
