PravinE
Hi, I have Denon AVR 3312 and Klipsch speakers. Both Amp and speakers are capable of 8 Ohms. But i am not sure how to check whether music/movie are playing in 8 Ohms. Please advise how to check. Regards, Pravin
Brac
Ummm.... Ohms is a measurement of resistance, speaker resistance can be measured with an ohm meter. An AVR is not measured that way, not sure of a better way to explain it...
JJkizak
Also the Ohms reading of the amp will vary according to frequency as also the speakers. The speaker ohms rating is taken as a collective average of all the frequencies invloved for most effiecient power transfer and may vary a considerable amount from 20hz to 20khz. You wouldn't want to look at a ohm/frequency chart of the "Klipschorn" without being in a good mood. JJK
