kenratboy
This is Levi's motto. It brings up a good point. Somthing that is hi-quality doesn't really go out of style. Examples include: -Cars -Audio equiptment () -Architecture (big one) -Furniture -Books (both titles and the actual book) You look at the Klipschorn, it is loved, even if it is 50+ years old. A pair of Polk speakers from 1999 are dated because there was no signifigance to them. The statement just hit me as fundamentally true and honest. Any thoughts? ------------------ Receiver: Sony STR-DE675 CD player: Sony CDP-CX300 Turntable: Technics SL-J3 with Audio-Technica TR485U Speakers: JBL HLS-610 Subwoofer: JBL 4648A-8 Sub amp: Parts Express 180 watt Center/surrounds: Teac 3-way bookshelfs Yes, it sucks, but better to come. KLIPSCH soon! My computer is better than my stereo!
ShapeShifter
Quality Timepieces are considered quite stylish today too. Certain vintage brands are commanding high prices. I think a lot of the babyboom generation recognizes and values the quality and craftsmanship of older items. Many are now financially stable and have the disposable income to afford them. ------------------ KLIPSCH IS MUSICf> My Systems f>s>c> This message has been edited by ShapeShifter on 06-13-2002 at 12:48 PM
