jpmgumdoc
Using Cornwall mains. Any suggestions for in wall/cieling speakers for center and rears?
picky
Heresys would be the perfect match; same tweeter and squawker only with a 12" woofer. But if you prefer built-ins, perhaps check out Klipsch's Architectural Series line of speakers. (LINK) Some even have a THX rating. I would estimate that your choices would mainly depend on your budget and your room's needs -Glenn
The Dude
I run in the in wall surround speakers that sound great, I get lots of compliments and run them with my Cornwalls. I use a Academy center, that sounds great. I would recommend at least one of those for a center are better yet like Picky says a Heresy for a center. I have not tired a Heresy as a center once I get a new entertainment center, I will sell the Academy and give one a try.
jpmgumdoc
Thanks. What in wall surrounds are you using? I definitely will need in walls for this house and not sure which ones to get. I presently have a Heresy center with the cornwalls and it's great. I would recommend that for you if you get the chance. Unfortunately I can't fit it in my new house. The Dude
I use the r-5650-s. I don't have enough room between my entertainment center and tv, and that would be the reason I decided to build a custom entertainment center so my speaker will set in the cabinet at the same height as the Academy now. Mikie
I also use 5650's for surrounds (but a horizontal Cornscala center between Khorn mains). Sounds great. --Mikie
