rowooo
I've been thinking about putting my MMF-5 on either a 3/8 or 1/2 MDF or glass platform with 4-5 vibrapods or some damping material underneath. I would like to stick with some thick glass since cosmetically it would look nice with my Mac preamp and the glass platter on the table. Which would be better for damping vibrations? I'm thinking the MDF but if I had devices underneath anyway it might not matter much. Anyone do anything like this? HDBRbuilder
Just go to a local marble supply place and get a square slab of marble the size you need and about 3/4" thick, and attach some small rubber feet to it...put your turntable on top of it...years ago they offered these...at premium prices, too! ------------------ I can now receive private messages
