dwillie
Thanks in advance. I'm using 4 Pro La Scala's as a live band PA and would like to add a little extra bottom end. Not interested in home theater type lows, or what some call "dance music" lows, just a little more extension from the La Scala's. EV makes some sub-woofers, so does JBL and Cerwyn Vega. Any opinion on the KP-484? I'd use electrics to crossover. d.
djk
What is a KP-484? Do you mean the KP-480 (with the 15" PR) or the KPT-484?
dwillie
Thank you for the correction. Yes, I mean the KPT-484 (18" woofer). I assume the "T" is for Theater? I've come across a pair of these for a very reasonable amount. It's motivating me to make a move I've meant to do for quite a while. Thanks again. d. djk
Adding a single 18 per side won't do much, unless it's a tapped horn design. I would suggest a DIY tapped horn.
