Minidsp vs. all others IF!! I go active

OK so from what I can tell the Minidsp can act like a active crossover, that I can program with my computer. Since it seems that other processors have time alignment, filters, etc. Is it better to go with a different processor. Looking for a budget processor, Coytee offered me to borrow his after Seti which I might do but can't afford one like that. Second looks like I would need a second amp if I go this route, for now I all I have is the MC2505. Would I want to use this on the LF or the MF/HF section, and which would you recommend for the other half.

I know I ask a lot of pointless questions sometimes, mainly cause my mind don't stop wondering about this hobby. But time to get a little more serious here, and could use some serious help.

My goal right now is to get the horns/drivers, and if I can find a reasonably priced amp, and processor. Maybe I could just buy the second amp and borrow the crossover to mess around with what I have for now.

I'm pretty sure MiniDSP can do time alignment and any filters you need.

Use the Mac on the bass bins, get a 2A3 or 300B SET for the top. Or that Pass F3 (didn't you just get one of those?).

Thanks for the input, but I just put my name on the email notification for the burning amp mono block kits.

This one here, http://www.diyaudio.com/store/amplifier-kits/amp-camp-kit-1/amp-camp-bundle-everything-you-need-to-make-dual-mono-amplifiers.html if they come in would something like this work.
