KSF-S5 loudness, need surrounds for KSP-400, is KSP-S6 louder?

I have a pair of KSF-S5 surround speakers paired with my KSP-400 front speakers. I've never thought the KSF-S5 speakers sounded very loud, overwhelmed by the front speakers (to me). Soon, I will have a HT room wired for 7.1. Meaning, I either need 4 new surrounds, or, 2 new surrounds to go with the existing KSF-S5.

I believe KSP-S6 will also work with the KSP-400's, should be an ok match. Not sure anything newer would though. I am wondering if the KSP-S6 surrounds are louder than the S5?

Is there a newer speaker that might work well with the KSP-400s? I will never get rid of these speakers, I have always loved them.

If you search Klipsch's website under Discontinued products it'll give you all the info you'll ever need about any Klipsch speaker you're wondering about. The KSF-S5 has a sensitivity rating of 90dB, the KSP-S6 has a sensitivity rating of 94dB. That's a very noticeable difference in sound output.

Your KSP-400s have a sensitivity rating of 95dB. The KSP-S6 is the exact matching surround to your KSP-400s so it will definitely sound a lot better.
