matthew2
The ProMedia DD-5.1 decoder Could someone use this as a pre-amp? And connect power amps to run their speakers? It looks like it would be a great value. Why would you buy an Outlaw950 when this costs so much less? (Unless this sounds like crap) Is it as big as most recievers? ------------------ Matthew Klipsch Rocks

justin_tx_16
Most definately. Infact the manual gives teh schematics on how to do this. The manual is online, go to soundwise.n2v..net and then to helpful info and then manuals, you will find it there. it is small. roughly 1.5 inches tall, 8 inches wide and 6 inches deep... this is real rough, but i think the demensions are also in the manual. if you have seen a Hercules GTXP, it is just about the same size as that. ------------------ -justin SoundWise Support A technical help site created by me and my fellow Klipschers I am an amateur, if it is professional; ProMedia help you want email Amy or call her @ 1-888-554-5665 or for an RA# 800-554-7724 ext 5 Klipsch Home Audio help you want, email support@klipsch.com or call @ 1-800-KLIPSCH RA# Fax Number=317-860-9140 / Parts Department Fax Number=317-860-9150s>
matthew2
How would it sound though? I wish Klispch would have a pre-amp like this, but a bit bigger and have a few more features.
