mustang guy
I was just looking through the Klipsch website and ran across something that piqued my interest. Here is the KPT-4350-MS theater rear corner surround speaker. I would use inverted to put the horns up top. This speaker is a 3 way that is only 27" tall. It has 45Hz-20kHz ± 3dB -10db @ 32Hz efficiency, which is incredible. Furthermore, it is 104db efficient. In comparison, the Klipschorn is 33Hz-17kHz(+-) 4dB, and 105db efficiency, and the Jube is 45Hz-19kHz +/- 3dB-10dB @ 34Hz, and 105db efficiency. The only problem I can see is it is not a horn loaded bassbin.
dmckean44
This one deserves more attention as it's basically a KPT-435-M but all in one box. And since it's a cinema surround it shouldn't have a behind the screen voicing. It should be ready to go for 2-channel use. This should definitely kick the pants off my KI-396-SMA-IIs, which I love. Frzninvt
It won't outperform a fully horn loaded La Scala so I don't see the point. Not to mention it will throw your timbre' off.
dmckean44
They would work excellent as mains. These will play much lower than a La Scala and the K-510 horn is much more capable than the K-400.
