Bill Those KSB are nice looking speakers - almost too nice for my messy garage.. ; ) . I made an offer to a local CL for a set of RS3 and if doesn't go through, I may consider those, that is if they will still be around. From my initial demos, I found them a little bright(which I like), but a little hollow also. I drove them with my Cambridge Audio 640A v2 integrated which is pretty darn neutral in tone. Might have only been mismatched components and maybe a vintage Marantz would have masked that hollowness and thickened things up a bit. I sold them for a friend. Original buyer contacted me and wanted to swap out the KSB-3.1's for the B3's that I also had for sale. He had a very low power/low quality amp that just could not drive the 3.1's too well.
