Vavoline
OK, today I had a revelation. After a few days of feeling sorry for myself about not being able to get the Khorns, I woke up today and decided "ENOUGH". I decided to dig out some classic rock and crank it up on my Cornwalls. Eagles "Greatest Hits" CD got the nod. Man, the acoustic guitar on "Seven Bridges Road" was breathtaking. When the CD finished playing, I had the same feeling as when I had first heard Klipsch speakers . WOW! As I sat there in silence, I gave a glance upward and thought, "Thank You, Paul W. Klipsch, for your undying passion for creating speakers that so accurately reproduce the sounds of music." I remember thinking, there are people who have no Heritage Klipsch. Even worse, there are people who have NO Klipsch at all! And worst of all, there are people who have Bose, and like it. Argggh! So , I guess I'm not hurting so bad after all...except for my eardrums after a six - pack - induced - volume level listening session. Thank You, PWK! Vavoline
Gil, just kidding on the eardrum thing. I rarely crank 'em past 20 watts, which ain't exactly quite, but won't ring your ears either.
Soundthought
Know the feeling, like your post. "Even worse there are people who have no Kilpsch at all" Sad but true. We must all band together to spread the joy of Klipsch. I have a vision of a pair of Klipsch for every boy and girl in the world. I'd like to teach the world to hear in perfect harmony. Klipsch could make that so. My question is once we reach our pinnacle of Klipschdom (Horn Ed comes to mind) what then are we to do aside from some hearty listening? No more upgrade, no more bigger, better, badder nothing. Huh. I want some Khorns too, can't have them in my little (750sq ft.) bungalow. But, if I did then where to go from there? One of my friends is reading over my shoulder as i'm writing this and saying, "That's simple, all you do is Shut Up and Listen". Most profound statement he's ever said and so true. I agree, Thank you PWK.
