jimjimbo
Within a room that is 13 ft from front of speakers to the listening position, and the speakers equal distance apart, should the HF top bin be placed exactly even with the LF bottom bin (front to back), or ? Best practice? I know, I know, whatever sounds good to me, but, man, these things are heavy!!!
muel
Yeah, whatever works for you... but I would just turn the tops as you try to find where you want your toe in. Once you think you have them in their best spot then turn the bins to line up with the tops. Listen to see if it still works. Might save your back some, perhaps. colterphoto1
center the HF bin on the screen, block it up 1 foot so that it's even to top of the adjacent LF bin. Roger IndyKlipschFan used to have LSI-THX-LSILF- LSIHF (Center)- THX-LSI and it was PERFECT! Do the trick I showed you on the sides where you block the HF sections up one milk crate high that puts them just above seated ear level or approx the height of a Khorn HF unit.
