Clint Phare Posted March 17, 2001 Share Posted March 17, 2001 I bought a Stereo- link ( http://www.stereo-link.com ) this last week. It is a D/ A converter that goes between your computer and stereo. It works great! I had tried playing my mp3's with just a cable betwen my sound card and my pre amp- it sounded horrible. I came upon the Stereo- link web site quite a while back and recently they were selling the units for $129.00 vs. the normal $199.00 price. I bought one, hooked it up and though it has not made my mp3's sound like MoFi recordings, it has made a great improvement in the sound quality of mp3's and streaming audio. I have all my mp3's at 320 going to a Yamaha RX-V1000, RP-3's, RF-3's, and a Velodyne SPL12. Wow, to lazy to even use the cd Player anymore.
