egbeef
So i got this Sub 10 for free from the local pawn shop because it was sold to a customer and did not work. It didn't take much research before I determined the problem was in the amp and that it was a common one. I joined this forum to try to learn more about what others have done with their "broken sub 10s". I priced out some new, stronger, amps that I could replace the 200w one with but I'd prefer a cheaper option. Anyone have any suggestions to make use of this sub? Thanks for the responses. egbeef
The light still turns on with the power switch but the SW isn't getting power. I'm assuming this is a power source problem - blown amp?
jason str
If you are positive its the amp you can: Have the amp repaired. Buy a new amp or used one maybe. Sell for parts. I would sell it for parts personally as spending $100 + on the thing probably is not worth it. Where are you at ? Maybe a forum member needs parts or has a used subwoofer that's local to you for sale. Post a wanted up in the for sale section, possibly somebody has the amp you need.
billybob
About the case here too Jason. Move things along sometime or acquire the parts. Thanks! Always get a lot out of your sub postings! Passive reader I am, at times.
