Kain
I hear quite a bit regarding Region 1 and Region 2 DVDs. Region 1 is mainly America and Region 2 is mainly Europe. People say Region 2 DVDs have better picture quality since they are PAL, and PAL has a higher resolution than NTSC. Then some people say that the 4% speed-up on Region 2 PAL DVDs is annoying (but most people don't notice it). Then some people say that the 3:2 pulldown on Region 1 NTSC DVDs is annoying. Since I live in Dubai, they sell Region 2 DVDs locally. But I can order Region 1 DVDs from www.amazon.com However, I would like to see what you guys have to say on this matter. ------------------ Coming soon... WMcD
Interesting. But does not France and some mid-eastern countries use SEACAM? That could be another part of the issue. Gil
