Coytee
Not that I think anyone really cares... and not so sure I didn't already post a picture or two. I wasn't feeling too good last summer and had little strength. (my weight had dropped from 185 down to 128 and as we later learned, I had an internal infection for a couple months as I was averaging 100 up to 103 temperature daily) I had NO strength. That said, it was time to fix the above cylinders. The two rear cylinders (swing for the hoe) are trunnion mounted and have a 50 pound steel plate under them. Taking them off is easy-peasy. Unscrew & let fall to ground. (didn't do it that way) Putting them up however, will be difficult. I have two (guessing) 80 pound cylinders that need to be held in place while the 50 pound fastening plate is bolted under them. I don't have something like a transmission lift so what am I going to do? Gotta love ratchet straps!! Ratchet them down to the ground and then reinstall by doing the reverse. Worked like a charm. Truth be told, I would have been unable to replace them had I the strength of Arnold Schwartzeneger.
