Orange Peel
Between this receiver and the Harman Kardon AVR 320, what would be the winner? I want to keep my options open, I like the style of the Pioneer Elite stuff, and I also like the HK stuff. I just want the best bang for the buck, something with 6.1 possibly 7.1 would be nice, in this price range. They go for $468 Buy It Now on ebay, so it's right about the same price as the HK AVR 320. How do the Klipsch go with Pioneer receivers? Any opinions would be greatly appreciated ------------------ Scottc>s> Goldsmithc>s> Home Theatre:s> Klipsch RF-3's (Front Mains)c> Klipsch RC-3 (Center)c> Klipsch RS-3's (Rear Surrounds)c> Polk Audio PSW650 subc> Harman Kardon AVR-125c> Mitsubishi 60" Big Screen VS-60609c> Sony DVD DVP-S530Dc> Sony VCR SLV-N77c>
sunbeam64
Hi Scott, I'm running a VSX-47TX with my RS-7 HT.Lots of great features, sounds really smooth with more than enough punch for my 14x24 room. Recall seeing a 47TX on ebay this week from return.com(?) for like $900- a total steal! I've admired Pioneer Elite equipment for a long time and have been very happy. Some friends have been using Elite equipment for years trouble free. Dan
Orange Peel
Thanks for the reply, but I already bought the Harman Kardon AVR 520. This is the 2nd best Model HK makes, so it should bre real nice. If I don't like it, maybe I'll try the Pioneer Elite stuff. Thanks again! ------------------ Scottc>s> Goldsmithc>s> Home Theatre:s> Klipsch RF-3's (Front Mains)c> Klipsch RC-3 (Center)c> Klipsch RS-3's (Rear Surrounds)c> Polk Audio PSW650 subc> Harman Kardon AVR-125c> Mitsubishi 60" Big Screen VS-60609c> Sony DVD DVP-S530Dc> Sony VCR SLV-N77c>
