Bonzo
I am selling my PAS 2 that has had some restoration work done in the past. It works and sounds great and is in very nice condition. This has the silver face, same as the PAS 3. Cosmetically, there are a few scratches and part of the back label is missing. All the important information is there. Sonically, the only minor issue is sometimes there is a bit of distortion when turning the volume knob. I acquired this from a long retired electronics tech. who's memory is sadly failing. He couldn't remember all the information on the restoration or when it was done. Most of the caps have been replaced with orange drops. There are a couple of larger yellow caps underneath. It still has the selenium rectifier and other original components. I have tried all the inputs and, again, it sounds great. I will include a very good testing quad of Telefunken 12AX7's. I will also throw in two strong testing RCA labeled Mullards and a pair of vintage JAN 12AX7WA's. I have others we can discuss. I'm asking $300, $250 for one quad, OBO which will include packing, shipping and insurance via FedEx ground. I will try to any questions the best I can. Thank You! The Dude
Not a bad deal, the tubes alone could be worth that much. Good luck with the sale.

eth2
Do you know if he added a 1uF capacitor to eliminate the DC Voltage in the output of the preamp? Output coupling caps were an important mod on the early Pas preamps. If not, it isn't that big a deal to install them.
Bonzo
Maybe someone more skilled than I can look at the pictures and answer that question. Maybe those big yellow caps underneath? As I mentioned, the tech that did the work is not able to tell me what all was done or when. I do know it works and sounds great save for a bit of scratch in the volume knob. A friend of mine said that may be a solder joint but not sure. Edited April 24, 2016 by Bonzo

Bonzo
I am reducing the price to $300 shipped with both quads of tubes. I would do $250 shipped with one quad of your choosing. Thanks!
