chriswhotakesphotos Posted August 3, 2016 Share Posted August 3, 2016 I've spotted a KV-3 center for sale locally. It's certainly handsome, but which models is it meant to match with? Judging by the dates it was sold, it looks like it would probably go with KGs or Epics. Can anyone figure how it might sound with a pair of KP-201s? Frzninvt Posted August 3, 2016 Share Posted August 3, 2016 It was designed to be paired with the Epic line CF-1, Cf-2, CF-3 & CF-4. The KG centers are the KG 2.2V and KG 2.5V. You best bet is a third KP-201 as the timbre and output will not match the KP-201's. It won't sound bad but it certainly won't be seamless. kfalls99 Posted August 10, 2016 Share Posted August 10, 2016 I use the KV3 with my Kg4s. I haven't tried either of the 2.2s or 2.5s. I have tried the KLF-C7 which sounded to me as though the sound was going over my head (literally). The KV3 was much smoother in my system. I also have a C1, C2 and C3 which I believe are from the Synergy line. To me, the C3 sounded OK, but not as good as the KV3. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
