Paducah Home Theater Posted August 26, 2016 Share Posted August 26, 2016 My opinion is that the 440 is going to sound "bigger" although I've got no way of quantifying that. Frequency response is about the same, it's the same tweeter, should sound pretty danged similar. Below 500 hz those outside woofers on the 440 are going to kick in and midbass should be nicer. However I was under the impression that you'd have to modify your entertainment center even with the 440. I'm not sure it's worth all that.
