davesans
After several months I finally finished these crossovers for my Forte model 1. I was able it pickup a pair Northcreek inductors used. It saved me a bunch of cash also I was able to get a great deal on the Duelund caps from HIFI Collective, the Mundorf caps from ebay, and the binding post from Partsxpress. The autotransformers from Bob's site and the wire is Tara Labs Prime that I already had. I build the bases from MDF and use some hardwood I had laying around to hold the binding post. I have had them up and running for a few hours now right off the bat I noticed the low end was a lot tighter and the mids where much smother and not as forward I will do some more listening in the next few days but my initial impression is very good. Thanks for looking Dave
wvu80
Hi Dave. Those look great, good to know they sound good as well. I have built several pair of crossovers for various DIY projects. Your work is exactly 2.5 times to the 10th power better looking than mine.
