kenratboy
Well, for a shelf, I am thinking about getting some 1/2" to 3/4" wood-vinyl covered shelving (about 20" deep) and using the engineered steel brackets every 16" (studs) to make a shelf. I mean, if they can hold books, they can hold 80 pounds of speakers. If "they" can hang a 120 lb. plasma on a wall with two studs, I can do 80 lbs. with 6+ studs. I will also put rubber footies on the speakers. fini: Whoa! Would I? Should I? Could I? But why? Why could I? Why should I? Why could I? But why? Put some really heavy speakers above a $500 monitor and $500 laser printer? Don't forget my head. Don't forget my cat. Don't forget my food/drinks. Ehh, what the heck! Up they shall go!!! ------------------ Receiver: Sony STR-DE675 CD player: Sony CDP-CX300 Turntable: Technics SL-J3 with Audio-Technica TR485U Speakers: JBL HLS-610 Subwoofer: JBL 4648A-8 Sub amp: Parts Express 180 watt Center/surrounds: Teac 3-way bookshelfs Yes, it sucks, but better to come.
