evor1
i have the 2.1 computer speaker setup and on the back of the sub, one of the clamps that holds the speaker wire in is broken so it doesn't securely hold the wire against the contact. Can the single clamp be replaced?
paul79
You will likely have to replace the whole terminal assembly, but it may be a chore to get to it. What type it is, etc. I would look through the Digikey catalog and see if you can find one just like it.
Peter P.
You almost certainly won't find parts to repair a SINGLE spring loaded terminal; they're only manufactured in pairs. You can buy an entire assembly and solder it in yourself. Or you can remove the spring loaded terminal cup from the back of the sub, and cut the wires leading to the existing terminals. Extend those wires to somewhere else on the back of the subwoofer and drill a hole in the cabinet to allow the wires to exit. Get a terminal strip, much like seen on old Klipsch Heritage speakers, attach it to the rear of the cabinet/amp and connect those wires to the terminal strip. Connect your speaker wires and you're done. You can get a terminal strip at your local hardware store; it will likely have more terminals than you need but it will work
