physics defying room?

I think that my room configuration somehow defies the laws of sound physics. Compared to reccomended set ups, it is almost the worst possible thing you could do, yet it sounds better this way than it does when I make it so it is like how it says in the manual (sf-2's). I have one with the port firing into another room, the other about 6 inches from the wall. It's all in al lvery weird, yet it sounds great!

New music system:

2.1 using SF-2's (soon to be RF-7's), and an RSW-15. for amplification Mcintosh MC02105, B&K PT-3 preamp, Sony SACD player. pioneer turntable.

Computer uses Promedia 2.1's.

Hey, do whatever floats your boat, as long as you like it!

Figure, if bass is messing you up, lots of big subwoofers will take care of your problem.

Receiver: Sony STR-DE675

CD player: Sony CDP-CX300

Turntable: Technics SL-J3 with Audio-Technica TR485U

Speakers: JBL HLS-610

Subwoofer: JBL 4648A-8

Sub amp: Parts Express 180 watt

Yes, it sucks, but better to come. KLIPSCH soon! My computer is better than my stereo!
