kenratboy
OK, we now have 5 remote controls. TV, VCR, Receiver, DVD, DSS. It is a mess. What is the best universal remote I can get for under $250? I would like to spend as little as possible, but it also needs to control the stuff. I would like macro's. My satellite TV turn-on process involves: 1.)turn on TV 2.)switch TV to S-video mode 3.)turn on receiver 4.)switch receiver to satellite input 5.)turn on satellite 6.)go to a channel. Three remotes and a lot of time (well, a pain.) Most important is to do all the basics. I know for advanced functions, I would need to use the respective remote, but I just want to do basic DVD (pause, play, skip), satellite (change channels), TV (on/off). You get the idea. Sony? Marantz? Lexicon 8^) ? I would love to hear ideas!!! Thanks!!!
justin_tx_16
how about the Pronto? It is excellent. I have a like $23 universal remote from wal-mart, it does 6 things and works like a charm
