Cambo5159
Hello, I have a pair of R-15PM speakers and the matching Klipsch (project) turntable. The problem is, when I switch to Phono the speakers emit a "wine" or feedback. The louder I turn up the speakers, the worse the wine. This is present wether I have the turntable hooked up or not. So I don't think it has to do with the turntable. Is the pre-amp bad? I called customer service and they mentioned trying different electrical outlets. That didn't work. They also mentioned trying a power conditioner. I don't own one. They are kind of pricey. So I thought I'd ask here before I go buy one. Cambo5159
BTW, when I switched from phone to Line on the back of the speaker, the sound goes away.
The History Kid
Shouldn't be necessary. Sounds like a defective unit. Seems to be a lot of those.

Bummer. These were purchased used as a gift. I really like the sound. I guess I could buy a pre-amp. I do have a turntable that has a line output. I guess I can use that in the meantime.
