The Rip Van Winkle analogy runs too true, sadly enough. btw, I always thought one of the neatest jobs would to be to draw the little blurb scenes within the articles/stories in the New Yorker, getting paid 100K a year at whim (talk about imaginary). An old girlfriend once got one of her drawings in an issue in the late 80s. It was 1.5 inches square but a proud moment... Can we possibly WASTE any more time?????
