Eagle333 Posted May 12, 2018 Share Posted May 12, 2018 I am adding speakers and power amps to my system, and in assigning power to the speakers, it occurred to me that the R-115 SW Subs, with their own built in power, should not require much to run them. willland Posted May 12, 2018 Share Posted May 12, 2018 To run your subwoofer all that is needed is a low volt signal from the AVR or processor to the amp in the subwoofer. Adding a quality outboard amp to your speakers will offer more headroom, better dynamics, and possibly better imaging and soundstage.
