a_d_a_m Posted March 27, 2001 Posted March 27, 2001 Lol... this is not port noise now... it sounds that there is something stuck in the subwoofer and seems to be vibrating and making some excess noise that is pissing me off. And no, I didn't put anything in the sub through the port. LOL! Quote
Paragon Posted March 27, 2001 Posted March 27, 2001 Are you sure it is coming from the sub? Things in the room tends to vibrate Move your sub to the center of the room and listen to it. Quote

2twelsh Posted March 27, 2001 Posted March 27, 2001 I am having -the same- problem. It is getting progressivly worse on my v2-400's. It sounds like a rattling sound inside the subwoofer. My roommate also has v2-400's, they are not only better sounding (sub-wise) but they do not make the rattling sound. Quote

Btrigg Posted March 27, 2001 Posted March 27, 2001 I have the same problem and no answered my question. I opened it up since my warranty was already up, and I know what's vibrating. I'm not sure how to fix it. On mine the back of the sub is what vibrates, and some times the big piece of metal just hanging over the amp (I'm not sure why it's there). Can someone from technical support help me? Quote
2twelsh Posted March 27, 2001 Posted March 27, 2001 I hope someone can help solve this problem. I am in Canada. Am I better to send back to Klipsch (I believe I am under warrenty) or should I crack it open? Can Klipsch tell if I open the sub?f> Quote

Btrigg Posted March 28, 2001 Posted March 28, 2001 How long is the warranty on these, I've had them since the Nov. after they came out. Quote
coo1asice Posted April 21, 2001 Posted April 21, 2001 mine was rattling the same as your sounds like it is. from past experience with car audio i figured it was just something small with it. i opened it up and found that the sub wires were rattling against the wood sides of the box. i put some black tape on em and it stopped rattling. sounds sweet now. cool Quote
