mobile homeless Posted October 9, 2002 Share Posted October 9, 2002 Jimbo, why the sudden rush to quote the CJ MV-50 specs? First of all, specs with tube amps arent always going to tell you too much. IT surely is the last thing I really look to; after hearing a host of tube amps, one quickly learns that specs do very little to predict the sound. Also, dont you have the MV-52 upgrade? Your a genious, tube wise, your advise should be well considered by us on the BB. Ill let you know when im ready for a pre amp, thats when ill get one untill then, back to normal browsing the BB i go Oh yea 2 more stupid questions 1 do tube amps take more or less power than a SS? 2 will i fry my tweeters, with the brightness in sound?
